Why not. As long as there is relative content to the job you are applying to it can only help. Be sure that everything is up and running before sending your resume out. However, it is very important to understand that if your GitHub has incomplete work or work that is not inline with the role you are applying to, keep it off! If something doesn't help or has no upside, you run the risk of it hurting your chances.
